I'd like to start by sharing that this eggs benedict was $19, so my expectations were high.

The hollandaise was VERY buttery, but there was a lot of it, which I appreciate. Sauce texture was good, but again, the butter was the overpowering flavor in the sauce, which isn't correct.

Next, we have the basted egg. It would have been better if it was poached, but I really didn’t mind this remix as much as I thought I would. The egg white to yolk ratio was off, but it didn't ruin the experience. However, I will note that I much prefer an eggs benedict that is constructed individually, rather than have this 2-egg-set-up played out over 2 different English muffins... so, point docked.

Obligatory side dish mention: Basic potatoes on the side. They were crispy, which was enjoyable.
